The Passkey feature is Indodax's latest security innovation designed to make the login process faster, more practical, and secure. With a Passkey, you can access your account using only your fingerprint, Face ID, or device PIN without needing to type in a password.
Why Does This Error Message Appear?
If you see the notification "No Passkeys Available," don't worry. This is generally caused by:
Unregistered Data: Passkey data has not been registered or was not found on the device you are currently using.
Sync Issues: Passkey data has not been saved or synchronized in Google Password Manager.
New Device: You are using a new device that hasn't been added to your account's Passkey list yet.
Solutions and Troubleshooting Steps
1. Use an Alternative Login Method
If you need to access your account immediately, you can still log in manually:
Click the Other Login Methods option on the sign-in page.
Select Login with Email and Password or use Google.
2. Register Your Device Manually
To prevent this issue from recurring, you should register the device you are currently using:
Log in to your Indodax account.
Go to the Security Settings menu.
If the Passkey status is "ON" but you are still encountering issues, click on the Passkey menu to view the list of registered devices.
If your current device name is not on the list, please re-register or add a new device.
