The Passkey feature is designed to provide a fast and secure login experience without a password. If you receive the error message "Passkey Validation Failed" when trying to revoke access, it is typically caused by the following security factors:

Why Does Validation Fail?

The system does not recognize your device identity. Passkeys are highly specific and permanently linked to:

  • Physical Device: The specific smartphone or laptop used when you first activated the Passkey.

  • Cloud Account: The Google Account or Apple ID connected during the initial setup.

If you attempt to revoke access using a different device or a different cloud account, the system will reject the request to protect your account security.

Recommended Solutions

  1. Use the Original Device: Ensure you are using the same device you used to activate this feature.

  2. Check Your Cloud Account: Verify that you are logged into the correct Google Account or Apple ID on that device.
