We would like to inform you that the notification “Incorrect Password! Please try again” that appears when you try to log in to the Indodax app is a standard security measure that alerts you that the password you entered does not match the one stored in the system. Password errors are usually caused by input errors or discrepancies with the stored data, such as:
Input Errors (Typos or Caps Lock)
Indodax passwords are case-sensitive. Make sure the Caps Lock key on your phone’s keyboard isn’t accidentally enabled.
Make sure there are no spaces at the beginning, middle, or end of your password.
Special Characters: If your password contains special characters (@, #, $, etc.), make sure you enter them correctly in the correct order.
Temporary Account Lockout (Security Lockout)
If you enter the wrong password too many times in a short period, Indodax’s security system will activate a temporary lockout on your account. This security measure is designed to prevent brute-force attacks (repeated hacking attempts) on your account. To resolve this, you must wait for a short period (usually 5 to 10 minutes) before attempting to log in again. During this waiting period, do not attempt to log in again, as this will extend the lockout period.
Using a Password That Has Been Changed
You may be trying to log in with your old password after successfully changing it via email or a password reset link. Please make sure you are using your most recent password and are absolutely certain of it.
If you’re certain the password you entered is correct but the notification still appears, we recommend that you reset your password on the Indodax account login page. For more information on how to reset your password, please click the following link: click here.
