We would like to inform you that if you encounter an issue when entering a username in the address management menu and receive the message “Invalid username,” this is because the username data for the recipient you wish to add to the whitelist is incorrect. In other words, the system was unable to find an active account using that username.
Some factors that typically cause this discrepancy include:
Typos in letters or numbers.
The recipient provided incorrect data (for example, providing a full name or email address instead of the account username).
Unintentional spaces entered at the beginning or end of the username.
To ensure your whitelist is saved successfully and without issues, we recommend that you follow these verification steps:
Double-Check with the Recipient: Make sure you have requested and received the correct username from the owner of the destination account. You can ask the recipient to copy their username directly from the profile menu in their Indodax app to avoid spelling errors.
Check Character Details and Spelling: Double-check the username you’ve typed. Ensure that the entire combination of letters, numbers, or punctuation marks (if any) matches the destination account exactly.
Ensure There Are No Extra Spaces: The system treats spaces as part of the input. Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after the username you enter.
Once you have confirmed that the target username is correct and accurate, the system will automatically validate the data, and you can proceed with the whitelist saving process until completion.
If you have confirmed that the entered username is correct but the issue persists, please contact the Indodax Customer Support team, available 24/7 via Live Chat in the app or our official email, for further assistance.
