Verifying account is required before using your Indodax account. Currently, KYC can only be done on the Indodax mobile application. Please, make sure you have downloaded the Indodax mobile application after registration and email verification then please prepare your ID Card (please use passport if you are not Indonesian citizen) in physical form (non digital) for the verification process. Here are the steps to verify your account at Indodax:
- After you have successfully registered an account and verified your email, you will be directed to verify (KYC). Currently, KYC can only be done on the Indodax mobile application. Please, make sure you have downloaded the Indodax mobile application after registration and email verification then please prepare your ID Card (please use passport if you are not Indonesian citizen) in physical form (non digital) for the verification process.
- After creating an Indodax account and downloading the Indodax mobile application, please log in to your account on the Indodax mobile application then please navigate the account settings menu.
- Next, please click “Verify now” and “Start verification”
- Next, you will see this page. There are 3 steps to do KYC at Indodax. First, to verify ID card click "Start".
- After you fill in the country of origin, select “Take Photo/camera shutter button”. If Indodax application requires permission to access your camera, please allow. After that, you can follow the placement of your ID card with the grid provided. Remember, you can only use ID card. Currently, Driving License and Passport are not valid for Indonesian citizens for the KYC process. If you are not an Indonesian citizen, use your Passport. Currently KITAS or KITAP are not valid for KYC process. After it is successful and already placed in the correct position, select "Continue".
- Please re-check your ID card data then select "Save". In the next step, Personal Data. Select "Continue", then fill in all your personal data completely and honestly according to your identity. When finished, select "Continue" and "Save". Confirm your data again, and if it is correct select "Confirm"
- The next step is Face Detection. Click "Continue" or "Next" after that select "Start Test Now" Make sure the camera on your device is working properly. Do not use glasses, masks, and have sufficient lighting. You need to follow the directions on your screen so that the system can verify your face. This process is very important to do in order to ensure the legitimacy of your account. Recording lasts only a few seconds, pay attention to your recording time. If it is successful, the next page will appear and you only need to click "Continue".
- After completing all the KYC verification process, you need to agree to the Terms and Conditions by clicking the “I Agree” button.
- In the final step, you only need to wait a maximum of 1x24 hours for the verification process to be processed by the Indodax team. If the verification process is successful, you will receive an email. You may activate the push notification feature on your mobile phone for information on your KYC results.
- In some cases, there’s a possibility that the KYC process will take a longer time because we need to conduct further checking. When this happens, you only need to wait and your KYC process will be finished in less than 2x24 hours.
