Factors Affecting Fund Receipt

The time it takes for withdrawal funds to be received depends on the bank’s processing. After a withdrawal status is marked as successful, the transaction may still go through several processing stages by related parties, including:

  • Sending bank.

  • Switching network.

  • Receiving bank.

In addition, fund receipt time is also affected by bank operating hours. Some banks have limited services during nighttime, weekends, or national holidays.

Possible Causes of Delays

Most transactions will be completed within the estimated time above. However, in certain situations, delays may occur due to:

  • Processing that can only be performed during bank operating hours, including scheduled maintenance or unexpected operational disruptions.

  • Issues with the switching network or internal processing at the receiving bank.

  • Additional reconciliation processes required to confirm transaction status.
