Never disclose your OTP
Indodax will never ask for your OTP, password or PIN via any communication channel. If someone claims to be an Indodax employee, Indodax customer service representative or an official authority and asks for your OTP, you can be certain it is a scam. Your OTP is for your own use within the official Indodax app or website only; it must not be shared with anyone else.
End the Conversation Immediately
Do not try to argue or engage with the scammer. Hang up immediately or block the number. Scammers are often highly skilled at convincing victims with excuses such as ‘your account is having issues’, ‘you’ve won a prize’, or ‘system maintenance’.
Secure Your Account Yourself
Receiving an OTP request from an unauthorised source indicates that someone may have obtained your email address and password and is attempting to log in. Take the following steps immediately:

Enable the Authenticator (2FA): We strongly recommend switching from SMS OTPs to the Authenticator.
