If your account is locked and the main mobile number registered to your account is lost or inactive, then you will not be able to receive a verification code via SMS or WhatsApp to unlock your account. Please note that SMS and WhatsApp verification codes will only be sent to the main cell phone number registered to your account. So in this situation you need to change your main cellphone number first. Here are the steps to change the main cell phone number if the account is locked :
- On the verification menu, please select the 'Lost phone number?' option to request a data change on the registered mobile number.
- On the Reset Mobile Number menu, please fill in your new mobile number, then fill in the reason for your data change. After that, please select 'Next'.
- Next, please check your email for the verification code that has been sent to your email.
- Please enter the verification code received and select 'Send'.
- Congratulations, your number change has been successful, please login again.
