How to Make a Complaint Via Live Chat Help Center Indodax

Note:

The language used by the chatbot in Live Chat will follow the language settings on your device. If you want to change the language used, you can reset the language in your device settings.

How to Use the Chat Bot Feature

Before contacting our agent, you can use our Chat Bot feature to find answers to your questions or issues. Here are the instructions on how to use the Chat Bot feature.

If you are accessing Indodax via website:

  • On your Indodax homepage, please click the 'Help' button located in the bottom right corner of your screen.

  • Please type your question in the provided column and then press 'Enter' to send the message.

  • The Chat Bot will recommend articles related to your issue. Please open the recommended articles. However, if you need further assistance, you can choose the 'Get in touch' option to connect with our agent.

    Note:

    The language change option in the article is located at the bottom of the opened article page.

If you are accessing Indodax via application:

  • On the homepage, please open the 'Account Settings' menu.
  • Then, select 'Live chat', and please type your question in the provided column. The Chat Bot will recommend articles related to your issue. Please open those articles. However, if you need further assistance, you can choose the option 'Chat with an agent' to connect with our agent.

    Note:

    The language change option in the article is located at the bottom of the opened article page.

How to submit a complaint request through Livechat agent

If you are accessing Indodax via website:

  • On your Indodax homepage, please click the 'Help' button located in the bottom right corner of your screen.

  • Next, please click on the 'Get in touch' option.

  • Then, select the 'Live chat' option.

  • Please enter your contact details along with a brief explanation of the question or issue you have in the provided fields. After that, click 'Start Chat'.

  • Please wait for a moment until you are connected with our agent. Once connected, you can provide more detailed information about your issue or question in the designated field. After that, please press 'Enter' on your keyboard to send your message to us.

  • In the chat window with our agent, you will find three buttons labeled A, B, and C. Click button A if you wish to end the conversation. If you want to attach an image to provide more detailed information about your issue, click button B, and select the image you wish to attach. If you would like to save the conversation history with our agent, click button C and choose the 'Email Transcript' option. Additionally, you can edit the contact details you entered before entering the Live Chat menu by selecting the 'Edit Contact details' option.

If you are accessing Indodax via application:

  • On the homepage, please open the 'Account Settings' menu.
  • Please select 'Live chat,' then choose 'Chat with agen'.
  • Next, please type your issue, then click the 'Send' button to connect with an agent.

  • After connecting with the agent, please provide your concerns in more detail so that our agent can assist you accurately. You can attach files such as images or documents to support your issue explanation by selecting option A. You can also request a transcript of the conversation with the agent to be sent to your email by choosing option B.

  • To attach a file to the conversation, you need to grant access permission to the Indodax application first. If the permission pop-up notification does not appear, please open your device settings first, then find the Indodax application and check the required permissions.

How to grant access permissions on iOS devices: 

  • Open 'Settings' menu.
  • Then select 'Privacy & Security'.
  • Tap on the information categories to be granted access, namely 'Photos', 'Camera', and 'Files and Folders'.
  • Find the Indodax app, then please check the permission or choose the access to be granted in those categories.

How to grant access permissions on Android devices: 

  • On your device, open the 'Settings' app.
  • Tap 'Apps'.
  • Tap the Indodax app. If you can't find it, tap 'See all apps'.
  • Then, select the Indodax app.
  • Tap 'Permissions'.
  • To change permission settings, tap the respective setting, and then choose 'Allow'.
