Indodax launched a new channel for Rupiah deposits in order to facilitate transactions for its users and make deposit services easier and faster. Two different deposit flows are implemented through the use of this new deposit channel:
Open Deposit where members don't need to fill in a nominal deposit and a static Virtual Account number.
Closed Deposit where members must enter the deposit amount, and the Payment Code will continually change.
What’s new :
- Log in to your Indodax account.
- Select “Wallet”, then “Deposit IDR”.
- Then select “Payment Methods” according to the method you want to use.
- If you are using:
- Virtual Account & Counter : members don't need to fill in a nominal deposit (Open Deposit), and will be directed to Payment Instructions
- E-Wallet : members fill in the deposit amount first (Close Deposit), and will be directed to Payment Instructions

How to Make a Deposit Using the Virtual Account Method
Select the “Wallet” menu, then select “IDR” Deposit.
Go to the "Deposit" menu and choose the "Virtual Account" payment method.
Once the Virtual Account number is generated, you can transfer the funds using your mobile banking or Internet banking.

How to Make a Deposit Using Bank Transfer Method
- Select “Wallet” menu then select “IDR” Deposit.
- Click the “Deposit” menu then select the payment method “Bank Transfer”.
- After selecting the “Bank Transfer” method, please fill in the IDR Deposit amount according to your needs, then click “Continue”.
- After clicking “Copy” the BCA Indodax account number as the destination account and then please make a payment from a bank account in your own name. If you have made a payment, save the proof of transaction to further confirm the transfer from your Indodax account. Here's a guide to confirming rupiah deposits.
How to Make a Deposit Using the E-Wallet Method
Select the "Wallet" menu, then select "IDR" Deposit.
Go to the "Deposit" menu and choose the "E-Wallet" payment method.
Fill in the amount of IDR you want to deposit. Then click the “Continue” button.
Click "Pay" to proceed with the transaction.
A payment deadline or "Waiting for Payment" status will appear.

Indodax offers a range of reliable and easy-to-use features for depositing Rupiah on our app. You can choose from multiple payment methods, including Virtual Accounts (VA), Bank Transfers, and E-Wallets.
We provide a simple guide to make Rupiah deposits through the Indodax app, ensuring a safe and hassle-free transaction experience.
- Go to the "Wallet" menu and view your account balance.
- Choose "Deposit".
- Select your preferred payment method.
- Click "Next" after selecting the payment method.
- If you choose Virtual Account, copy the bank account number provided and follow the instructions.
Note the following instructions so the deposit can be processed immediately:
- Make sure the name on Virtual Account (VA) matches the name on the account Indodax.
- Transfer CORRECT AMOUNT includes the unique numbers (if any).
- Failure or not following the instructions above could result in a delayed deposit or even the deposit didn’t come in.
