No. Please be informed that currently, Indodax officially only supports deposits in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Therefore, you cannot transfer Dollar balances directly, either through USD bank transfers or Dollar-denominated credit cards, to top up your account balance. For those of you who currently hold Dollars and wish to invest on Indodax, you are advised to follow these steps:
Convert to Rupiah: Exchange your Dollars to Rupiah first through a bank or a money changer.
Deposit via IDR Channel: Once the funds are available in Rupiah in your bank account, you can make a deposit to Indodax using various available methods, such as:
BCA Bank Transfer.
Virtual Account (BCA, Mandiri, BRI, Bank INA, and Artha Graha).
E-Wallet (OVO, ShopeePay, Dana, QRIS, and Gopay).
There is often confusion between the US Dollar currency and the crypto asset called USDT. Although you cannot deposit cash Dollars, you can receive USDT transfers from other wallets or exchanges to your USDT wallet address on Indodax. You can later sell this USDT asset into Rupiah within the Indodax platform. If you wish to make a deposit, ensure your funds are already in Rupiah in your bank account and use an account with the exact same name as your Indodax account so that the top-up process runs smoothly and securely.
