The short answer is that they are two different things. A Bitcoin address is a unique identifier that serves as a virtual location where crypto assets can be sent. A Bitcoin address consists of an alphanumeric array of 26-35 characters that are useful for receiving Bitcoin from others. Bitcoin addresses can be obtained from exchanges or wallets. Bitcoin addresses are not meant to be permanent, but only as tokens to be used in a single transaction.

Meanwhile, a digital wallet is a software program, which allows users to store, manage, and facilitate the transfer of their crypto assets to and from addresses. You need to know that there are several types of crypto wallet wallets, namely: Hot Wallet, cold wallet, and paper wallet.
