We would like to inform you that knowing the duration of holding assets in your portfolio is very important for evaluating investment performance and maintaining the discipline of your initial plan. Although Indodax does not yet display an automatic day "countdown" feature on the balance page, you can still easily find out through the Transaction History feature. Here is the guide:
Through the "History" Menu in the Indodax App
The most accurate way to determine the holding duration is by tracking your first purchase date. Here are the steps:
Open the Indodax app.
Click the 'Wallet' menu, and in the top right corner, you will find the 'History' menu.
Use the history filter and select 'Transaction Period'.
Select the crypto asset you want to check (e.g., BTC or ETH).
Scroll down the screen to find the earliest Buy transaction for that asset.
That transaction date is your starting point for holding the asset. You simply need to calculate the difference in days from that date to today.
Through the "Transaction History" Feature on the Indodax Website
If you have a high transaction frequency and need a neater data recap, using the website version is the best choice. Here are the steps:
Log in to your account through the indodax.com website.
Select the 'Transaction History' menu.
Determine your desired search time range.
Download the transaction report in CSV or PDF format.
Open the downloaded document to see the details of the entry date of each asset into your wallet.
The main key to knowing how long you have held an asset is by checking the date of the first buy transaction. By utilizing the history feature on both the app and website, you can obtain transparent data to support your next investment decisions.
