The Trade API allows you to connect your INDODAX account with trading systems or other applications via API to access account data, execute trades, and withdraw funds according to the granted permissions.
To use the Trade API on INDODAX, you need to create an API Key first.
How to Create an API Key
Log in to your INDODAX account via the website.
Go to the Menu, then select Trade API, or visit https://indodax.com/trade_api.

Select the API version you want to use: Trade API V2 or Trade API V1.
Note: Use Trade API V2 for a more comprehensive integration experience, with more features, security controls, and optimal performance.
Next, fill in the Label for your API Key.
Select Permissions according to your needs:
View / Enable Reading (View Only) to access account information.
Trade / Enable Spot Trading to create and cancel orders.

Deposit & Withdraw / Enable IDR & Crypto Withdrawal to withdraw IDR and crypto assets.
Note: The IDR withdrawal feature is available and can only be accessed through Trade API V2.
For Trade API V1:
If using the Deposit & Withdraw permission, you must include a Callback URL to validate withdrawal requests.
Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions, check "I agree with the Terms and Conditions", then enter your SMS PIN or Auth PIN.
For Trade API V2:
If using the Enable IDR & Crypto Withdrawal permission, you must specify a withdrawal security method via the Withdrawal Whitelist Method option. Choose one of the 3 available whitelist methods according to your integration needs: Whitelist via Address Management, Whitelist via URL Callback, or Manual Whitelist.

IP Permission is only available and must be configured if the IDR & Crypto Withdrawal permission is selected.
Note: If IDR & Crypto Withdrawal is selected alongside Reading and/or Spot Trading, the configured IP Permission will apply to the entire API key, including Read and Trade requests. If IDR & Crypto Withdrawal is not selected, IP Permission is not mandatory to configure and the API key can be created without IP restrictions.
Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions, then check "I agree with the Terms and Conditions".
Click Activate Trade API.
Check the email registered to your INDODAX account, then click the confirmation link sent to you.

After confirming, you will be redirected back to the INDODAX page. Save the displayed API Key and Secret Key. You can also download the displayed QR Code to save it.
IMPORTANT! The Secret Key is only displayed once. Make sure you store it in a safe place. If the Secret Key is lost, you will need to create a new API Key.
Security Tips:
Do not share your Secret Key with anyone.
Use a static server IP Address and ensure it is registered in the IP Permission option (mandatory for Withdrawal access).
Immediately update the IP Permission list if there are changes to your server IP or withdrawal destination addresses.
Use permissions according to your needs. If you only need data access, use Reading (View Only).
