Frozen IDR/Digital Asset Balance in Transaction History: What You Need to Know?

In the world of digital asset, we often hear about "frozen" IDR balances or digital assets in transaction history. Frozen balance, in this context, refers to funds or assets that cannot be used for transactions during a certain period of time. The following situations can cause your funds or assets to be in a "frozen" :

  • Pending or unexecuted buy/sell orders for digital assets.

For example, suppose you possess an IDR balance of Rp1,000,000 and you want to buy Bitcoin worth Rp 700,000 using the 'Limit' method. In this case, Rp700,000 of your balance will become frozen, as it will be used to purchase Bitcoin. You can unfreeze this balance by canceling your purchase order. When you select the 'Cancel order' option, your IDR balance will be restored to Rp1,000,000.

  • Pending withdrawal transactions for both rupiah and digital assets.

Similar situations apply to the withdrawal process for both Rupiah and digital assets. When you want to withdraw funds to your personal wallet or bank account, you will be required to verify your email first. While the email verification process is ongoing, your withdrawal status will remain "pending," and the Rupiah or digital asset balance you wish to withdraw will be frozen. To unfreeze this balance, you can cancel the withdrawal by using the withdrawal cancellation link sent to your email to confirm the previous withdrawal request.
