Binary code is a system of representing numbers, characters, and instructions using a combination of binary numbers 0 and 1. Binary code is the language used by computers to store, process, and communicate digital information. In binary code, each individual digit is called a bit (binary digit). A combination of eight bits is called a byte that can be used to represent one ASCII character or a low-level machine instruction. The advantages of binary code are simple data representation and easy implementation using ON/OFF digital logic gates. All computations on computers, including on blockchain, use data manipulation in the form of this 0 and 1 binary code.
