A Mempool is a temporary repository for crypto transactions that have been sent by users to the network, but are still waiting to be confirmed and included in the blockchain by miners.

All crypto transactions need to be confirmed and included in blocks before they are considered cryptographically valid. The Mempool serves as a queue of waiting transactions that will soon be mined and included in the next block.
