A roadmap is a long-term plan that defines key initiatives, milestones, and an estimated timeline for launching or achieving features or strategic goals of a blockchain/crypto project.

A roadmap lays out the overall development plan and goal direction of a blockchain ecosystem or crypto project over a period of time, usually between 6 months and 5 years. Crypto and blockchain roadmaps generally contain technical milestones such as protocol integrations or upgrades, operational milestones such as foundation establishment, as well as adoption and financial milestones.
