The registered email address in Indodax is important to ensure the security and smoothness of your trading activities. If you need to change it, this guide can help you through the process.
If You Can Access Your Account
If you are still able to log in to your Indodax account, you have the option to change the email address associated with your account using either the Indodax website or the Indodax app. Please follow the provided guide to learn how to change your email address.
Through Indodax.com
- Go to indodax.com and sign in to your Indodax account.

Select “Menu” and click “Profile & Settings”.

Click the “Edit” button next to the data you want to change.

Enter your new email address and upload a photo/scan of your ID card (E-KTP for Indonesian citizens and Passport for expatriates).
- Enter the SMS OTP PIN or Google Authenticator PIN, then click "Save".
- Our relevant staff will contact you through voice call to validate your request in 3-7 business days. Please be patient and ensure your registered phone number is active so that our team can check and validate your email change request.
Through Indodax App
- From the "Home" menu, please select "Account Settings" by clicking on the person icon in the upper right corner.
- Then select “Personal Settings”.
- On the "Email Address" tab, click "Pencil Icon".
- Please enter your new email address.
- Re-enter your new email address in the "Repeat New Email Address" section.
- Fill out the "Why do you need to modify?" box with your explanation.
- Upload a photo/scan of your ID card (E-KTP for Indonesian citizens and Passport for expatriates).
- Enter the SMS OTP PIN or Google Authenticator PIN, then click "Done".
- Our relevant staff will contact you through voice call to validate your request in 3-7 business days. Please be patient and ensure your registered phone number is active so that our team can check and validate your email change request.
Notes:
If you are unable to access your registered email, we suggest you contact your email domain provider and find the email recovery procedure. If the email recovery procedure is complete, you can try to log in to your Indodax account using your email address.
If You Can’t Access Your Account
However, if you are unable to access your Indodax account, please contact our customer support through email at support@indodax.com and provide the following information:
- Scan/photo of your ID Card:
- ID Card Number (Passport Number/NIK):
- Full Name:
- Residence Address:
- Username:
- Old Email (registered on Indodax account):
- New Email:
- Old phone number (registered on Indodax account):
- New phone number (optional):
- Relative’s phone number:
- Email and phone number modification reason:
Following that, our verification team will contact you via your old and new phone numbers to validate your data modification request; please verify your phone number is active. If your phone number is reachable, this process will take about 7 business days.
